Hiatus over!

I have been in the longest hiatus and I am please to say that it is now over! I wish I could say I have been doing all sorts of amazing things. Unfortunately this is not so true. I have just been busy, setting up home and planning for the future. And I definitely would like this blog to continue. So in going forward I will be updating once a week. I hope that this is turns into a successful venture going forward. I will also be introducing new and exciting things in the coming weeks to do with personal styling and best buys as well as sourcing, so stayed logged on! xx

In this picture I'm wearing a H&M dress, Dune Shoes and a cute apron I got from Brick lane a year ago. (Which I do actually use in the kitchen!)

Tekiva is a talented singer and song writer and I was lucky enough to style for some of her promotional material. We did a range of looks to see what style best suited her and to be honest everything she puts on just looks fantastic because she is such a beautiful person. Check out her Facebook page and her Myspace  page. She is seriously one to watch! x

Rock Chick

Firstly Happy New Year! And Sorry for the extended hiatus. Originally it was not meant to be for this long but after being in India for 3 weeks and then the Christmas holidays I decided the best thing to do was to wait and start a fresh in the new year. These photos were taken towards the end of last year before the snow but it was still in the cold. Credit to these amazing photo's are due to my talented friend Michael Obashan who I also worked with on the Soap, Powder shoot as well. Stay tuned, over the next couple of days will be a style packed journey, including photos from India and my work with the beautiful and talented Tekiva.

Soap, Powder, Clothes...

A few months ago I was lucky enough to work with a group of very talented individuals to produce these shots entitled: 'Soap, Powder, Clothes...' The photography was by the very talented Sangwoo Park and the styling was by myself. The look was inspired by the 50's woman but with a pop of modern colour.

I brought this coat and some other bits from Modcloth last year. As it's an American site I personally can not afford to order from them all the time. Their prices are good and delivery was reasonable but I got absolutely slaughtered paying the tax once it arrived. I still love going on their website and looking at all of their beautiful things. They not only sell clothes but a life style, catering for the home and body. They always promote each feature in a uniquely creative way ranging from illustration to fantastic use of typography and photography. The bag is a vintage vanity case which I love because of the unique shape. Instead of being round it's actually shaped like a tear drop.
